Applications: Preapprovals, Prequalifications, Inquiries and More
(Presented by David Dickinson)

All employees are responsible for the information they get in training. That's a given.

WEBINAR TIME:
11:30AM - 1:30PM PT 12:30PM - 2:30PM MT
1:30PM - 3:30PM CT
2:30PM - 4:30PM ET
But sometimes financial intitutions spend so much time training on the hot issues that we lose site of smaller items such as common training needs and we forget the informations that employees are responsible for, trained or not.

Don't get cited for poor training and don't let anything fall through the cracks especially when it comes to loan applications.

We also assume everyone knows and understands the rules and requirements. They don't. And while they should not be held responsible for something there were not trained in, your financial institution will be.

Join David Dickinson as he talks about the differences between a prequalification program and a loan program as well as when signatures are required by law versus policy and procedure.

He will also address these questions and more:
What is considered a loan application?
When does an inquiry become an application?
What is a Prequalification?
If I have a prequalification, do I have to do anything?
What is a Preapproval?
If I have a preapproval, do I have to do anything?
Must an application be in writing?
What about applications not received in person?
Must applications be signed?
Can I require a spouse or someone else to sign?
What's the difference between a co-signer, a co-applicant, and a co-borrower?
When is a Good Faith Estimate needed?
When is a Reg. B and FCRA adverse action notice needed?
What is a HMDA preapproval?
We will define your responsibilities and timelines for:

Good Faith Estimates
Adverse Action Notices
HMDA preapprovals
Mortgage Servicing Disclosure
Much, much more
Don't miss this important training.
